Music Ministry
Music is an important part of the worship service at Leighton. Each Sunday, our Praise Team, which consists of vocalists and instruments, leads the congregation in worship through a blend of contemporary praise songs and hymns.
Children’s Worship Music
Kids ages 4 & 5 and in grades 1-5 come together for the first 15 minutes of Sunday School (approximately 11:00-11:15) to sing praises to the Lord. The children will perform during morning worship on occasion and will also present a Christmas drama.
Music plays a big part of our summer Vacation Bible School. Kids learn new songs, many featuring motions and sign language, to keep the kids engaged and excited about singing about Jesus.
